At all Loss for how to Begin 2018?

It’s all fun and games leading up to the New Year – anticipation, parties, enthusiasm.  The time is fleeting because the glitz ends, the fireworks are over, we clean up, and its back to work – back to the same habits.  Back to the same patterns.  Before you know it, we’ll be ringing in 2019!

 

How do you WANT to Begin 2018?

 

I began 2017 with high expectations for making big big changes:  I was going to work out more, drink more water, meditate, advance my business ALL OF IT.  But then the kids needed more of my time.  We changed schools.  Some days I worked out, but not on a regular enough basis.  I got more water at times and other days I didn’t remember drinking water until dinner.

What happened?  Because I didn’t feel I could manage these small changes, I decided to focus on just one thing.  I spent my spare time (what little there was) pursuing the idea of happiness.  I blogged about it.  I researched it.  I lived it.  I failed at it.  I tried it again.  And again.

Amazing things happened along the way –

  • I noticed what made me unhappy
  • I noticed when I didn’t get enough water, and I drank water (brilliant, I know)
  • I began spending more time with my family
  • I worked out more consistently (who knew?)
  • I was able to hear what my clients meant (not just what they said)
  • I found TRUTH

I recommend you choose ONE THING to Begin 2018 and stick with it.  The journey will transform you and you’ll have amazing experiences.  And all those things you want to change, will probably change along with You!
